Do you think it is a good idea for the government, private corporations and universities to work as one?

Of course there's a conflict of interest, and it hurts both governments and universities. Yesterday I heard an oil executive complaining that Obama had "failed" to give the oil industry everything it needs to succeed, as if the President of the United States owed them that. And look at the way the Koch Brothers have scandalized Florida State University by "donating" to the school, when in fact they "bought" editorial control of FSU's economics curriculum. This may be a "Golden Age" for the corporations, but there are obvious limits to the value of their contributions. More strict ethics standards need to be implemented and closely observed. Otherwise everyone will suffer.
