Help moving to Connecticut?

I lived in Florida pretty much all my life ill be turning 15 in a week and last week my mom dropped the bomb on me that we're going to be moving to Connecticut in December i'm kind worried that i wont like it and i;m living all my friends behind i was wondering could you tell me something about it ct do they have fun place for teens to hang out or they have mall close by
