Could my friend's case of false imprisonment hold up in court for a countersuit?

well he was messing with the car door, if someone saw that they could think he was trying to break in. also i doubt the cops would take the time to think up cool nicknames while writing a ticket. also this all from what your friend said you don't have anything from the cops thus it is hard to tell who is telling the truth.
