Is it possible the Adam and Eve story is evidence of God's fear of human potential?

Could it be He was so upset with Adam and Eve from eating from the forbidden tree out of fear of how powerful/intelligent they could become? I think it's obvious He wanted to keep humans as dumb, and weak as possible, as they would be easier to control! Imagine if Adam and Eve would have ate from every tree in the garden of eden. Perhaps their power/intelligence could have rivaled God's own! Which is why He swiftly kicked them out of the garden of eden. I think this story holds clues that God can be beaten, and fears what humans can become! Of course, I don't really believe in all this mythology, I'm just speaking hypothetically. :P
